Life changing goals are fine. They are obtainable. They are milestones. They are also incredibly difficult to get to, and demoralizing if you miss the mark. Make small changes. Make manageable steps toward larger goals. You'll be disappointed less, still make progress in the right direction, and end up more fulfilled than you otherwise would have been.
